HAH! HAH! I SAY HAH!  

I was curious if YouTube had any videos on it taped of THE BOX.  Remember THE BOX?  We didn’t have your fancy ass YouTube back in the 90’s - we had THE BOX goddamnit! 

If we wanted to see a music video, we had to call a 900 #, enter a 3 digit code, pay $2.99 and wait 20 minutes!  And then after all that - did we get a super cool M.I.A. video with redheads getting shot?  NO!  Did we get Lady Gaga doing sex stuff in futuristic lesbian jail?  NO!  We got SWV sing “Weak” or if we were lucky Denis Leary singing “Asshole!” 

I present to you the top 20 videos shown on THE BOX in 1993.  Sure, we had Dr. Dre’s, “The Chronic” album… but we also had “Informer” by Snow.  And this is coming from a guy who bought one of the first 20,000 copies of “Nevermind” because it doesn’t have the bonus track on it.  This is REALLY what the 90’s were like.  

AND THEY WERE GLORIOUS.
